Chiropractor | Co-Owner, Belleville Integrative Health Centre

The Pull Toward Purpose

Dr. Justin D’Anna didn’t always plan to become a chiropractor: but helping others has always been part of his story. With a strong background in science, a natural interest in human anatomy, and a desire to make a difference, he found himself drawn to a career that combines analytical thinking with hands-on care.

“I didn’t grow up going to a chiropractor,” he says. “But when I was exploring healthcare options, I realized chiropractic gave me the opportunity to work directly with people: to use my hands and my knowledge to create meaningful change in someone’s life.”

That desire to lead with purpose and clarity now defines his work as both a clinician and co-owner at Belleville Integrative Health Centre (BIHC).

A Grounded Education

Originally from Belleville, Justin earned a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology before completing his Doctor of Chiropractic at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in 2016. While at CMCC, he developed an interest in evidence-informed practice and inter-professional collaboration.

This foundational approach continues to guide his work to this day. Whether he’s supporting an athlete through recovery or helping a client manage persistent pain, Justin relies on current research, measurable outcomes, and clear communication to ensure every care plan is both practical and aligned with the client’s goals.

“I try to bring honesty and clarity to everything I do,” he says. “You won’t get fluff or fad advice: I want my clients to understand their bodies, trust the process, and feel supported every step of the way.”

A Collaborative Fit

Justin joined the BIHC team in 2016 shortly after graduation. What began as a clinical opportunity quickly evolved into something more: a collaborative work environment where he could grow, contribute, and truly feel at home.

“I felt supported from day one,” he reflects. “The team here is open, experienced, and passionate about helping people: it’s a place that encourages you to keep learning and keep improving.”

In 2024, Justin stepped into a new role as co-owner of the clinic, joining a team of leaders working to shape the next chapter of BIHC. The decision felt like a natural extension of his commitment to the team and the clinic’s long-term vision.

Building Relationships, Not Just Results

Justin’s clinical style is straightforward, personalized, and rooted in relationships. He takes time to understand each client’s lifestyle, limitations, and goals: and then builds a plan that fits.

“I love working with people who are ready to put in the work,” he says. “That doesn’t mean they have to be athletes: it means they’re invested in getting better and willing to take an active role in their health.”

One moment stands out in particular. A client came in overwhelmed by chronic pain and unsure how to take back control of his life. Justin met him where he was, offering not just chiropractic care, but a complete plan tailored to the man’s abilities and routines, including movement goals and a manageable meal plan.

“He came back to me three weeks later with tears in his eyes,” Justin recalls. “He told me, ‘I feel like I’m finally getting my life back.’ That’s the kind of work that motivates me: when you see someone start to believe in themselves again.

From Clinic to Community

Now raising a young family in Belleville, Justin values the balance of living and working in a place where he can make meaningful contributions to his community.

Becoming a parent, he says, has positively shifted his perspective. “Parenting gives you a new perspective. It helps you understand what people are juggling in their lives and how important it is that their care fits within that.”

When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find him on the golf course, out for a hike, or spending time with family.

Steady Leadership in Motion

As both a chiropractor and co-owner at BIHC, Justin brings a steady, thoughtful presence to everything he does. He is committed to growing as a practitioner, strengthening the clinic’s collaborative model, and helping clients build confidence in their bodies and their recovery.

Whether guiding a first-time patient or contributing to BIHC’s long-term strategy, he leads with the same clear goal: better outcomes, stronger relationships, and care you can trust.
