Registered Kinesiologist | Co-Owner, Belleville Integrative Health Centre
A Path Shaped by Movement
For Matt Dings, movement isn’t just about physical fitness; it’s about restoring confidence, improving function, and helping people live fuller lives. As a Registered Kinesiologist and co-owner of Belleville Integrative Health Centre (BIHC), Matt brings a calm, focused presence and a deep knowledge of human movement to every client interaction. His work is grounded in evidence, empathy, and a simple belief that movement has the power to change lives.
Education, Practice, and Progress
Matt earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology from Western University in 2014 and became a Registered Kinesiologist with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario in 2016. Since then, he’s pursued ongoing professional development through specialized certifications in Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS), Functional Range Conditioning (FRC), Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM), and therapeutic ultrasound and electrotherapy.
Each modality deepens his understanding of the human body. With every certification, Matt brings new insights and clinical expertise to his practice to provide the utmost care to his clients, guiding them to regain strength, improve mobility, and move forward in their recovery with confidence.
His approach focuses on bridging gaps between injury treatment and long-term health. “We’re not just helping people feel better, we’re helping them get back to doing what they love,” he says.

Family Roots and a Legacy of Care
Being raised by parents who modelled hard work and honesty instilled a strong work ethic in Matt. These foundations led him to the science of movement, and eventually to kinesiology for a career where he could blend physical recovery with hands-on care and patient education.
In recent years, becoming a father inspired Matt to connect with his Indigenous Mohawk roots. That renewed connection has reshaped the way he lives, his parenting approach, and professional practices, fostering a desire to live more holistically and in alignment with his cultural values. His passion for natural healing continues to grow, and he hopes to respectfully integrate Indigenous Knowledge, in alignment with his cultural heritage, with evidence-based health care, both personally and professionally.
Investing in the Clinic and the Community
Matt joined BIHC in 2015 and quickly became an integral member of the clinic’s collaborative team. Over the years, he’s worked side-by-side with chiropractors, physiotherapists, and other allied professionals to provide integrated care plans that help patients regain function and independence.
In August 2024, Matt officially became a co-owner of BIHC. For him, the decision was about investing in a workplace he believes in; one that puts people first.
“We all work together here,” he says. “There’s a shared mission to help people, and it shows.”
Family Life and Everyday Movement
Matt was born and raised in Belleville and is now raising a young family of his own in the community. Becoming a father, he says, has helped him better relate to the clients he supports, especially those juggling the demands of recovery with the realities of parenting.
When he’s not in the clinic, you’ll likely find him at the cottage with his partner and growing family, or enjoying a round of golf with friends. Whether in work or life, his focus is steady: move with intention, stay grounded, and care deeply.
A Steady Force in the Future of Health
From strength-building to post-surgical rehab, from community care to clinic ownership, Matt continues to lead with humility and purpose. He’s not just helping people move, he’s helping them move forward, with confidence, care, and a deeper understanding of their own potential.
